Here in the Northern hemisphere, the days are already noticeably shorter as the weather turns toward Fall.
This is the time of year many people start getting drastically more artificial light compared to sunlight in terms of their light exposure.
Given that metabolism and fertility are both under the influence of the circadian endocrine system, it’s very important for anyone doing pre-conception work at this time of year to be mindful not only of their diet, but also their light diet.
In this talk, my friend Chesica and I focused in on metabolism and circadian rhythms from the everyday perspective of slow living.
While we certainly looped in some heady science, we also focused on some really practical ways it can be applied in every day life.
I hope you enjoy it! Let us know what you think in the comments.
