What if the keys to understanding and reversing neuroticism, depression and even early mortality lay in the field of quantum biology?

Modern psychiatry treats mental health with therapy and drugs. What if the solution is actually much simpler, and relates to how your cells make useful energy?
Just imagine the impact of a quantum treatment protocol that could effectively and simultaneously reduce neuroticism and increase longevity!
This is an amazing possibility hinted at in a fascinating study published in 2022 by mitochondrial health expert Martin Picard and others1.
The analysis was based on two major genetic datasets and sought to understand the links between mortality rates and personality.
They found that neuroticism, depression, and early mortality were each correlated with a personās mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) copy number.
This suggests persistent negative emotions like anxiety arenāt your fault, but a symptom of persistent low energy at the cellular level.
What is mtDNA copy number and why care about it?
The amount of mtDNA is thought to represent a personās ability to generate energy based on our knowledge of mitochondria as the āpowerhouseā of the cell.
It turns out, mitochondriaās ability to generate energy depends upon proven quantum mechanicsāelectron tunneling in the mitochondrial respiratory chain, quantum spin dynamics in the nuclear DNA (nDNA) that regulate mitochondrial activity and other quantum processes Iāll be sharing about in an upcoming deep dive for my paid subscribers.
To summarize: anything that impacts us at the quantum scale could actually influence personality and longevity.
That mechanism is found in the quantum engine running inside each and every mitochondria in your body, whereby minute changes can lead to drastic differences in how much energy is harnessed (or wasted)2.

4 actionable takeaways based on the connections between quantum biology and personality:
Sunlight is nourishment: get outside every morning, anchor your day with natural light, even if only for a few minutes
Your permission slip: when it comes to morning light, any amount is better than none, and if you wake up before the sun, candlelight can stand in its place
Tackle circadian disruption first: ditch artificial light at night and prioritize darkness for mental health, resilience, and complete mitochondrial repair (mitophagy)
Itās easier than you think: here are some nightlights you can get that wonāt disrupt your circadian rhythms (code NIKKO gets you 10% off at checkout)
Small steps can spark big changes: start with one habit shift (like stable mealtimes or brighter mornings or darker nights)
Make a plan: you donāt have to change everything all at once! I started with blocking artificial light at night, then moved into morning light, and to be honest, now that I have a newborn again, itās harder than ever for me to get breakfast on time!
Track your own transformation: keep notes and notice how these natural habits change your mood, energy, and outlook on life
Celebrate every effort: even if they arenāt your idea of perfect. Mindset makes such a big difference, and when you take notes, it can help remind you of how much progress you have actually made
These are cutting-edge takes on health, but what we are actually doing is bringing back natural vitality through meaningful connections with nature.
Itās using the research and methods of modern evidence-based medicine to return to ancestral connection to our planetās energy fields.
And we are doing it in a way that is systematic and understanding of the need to mediate between new technologies and ancient needs.
Listen in to get the full scoop on how everyday choices like what kind of light we choose, who we have as our body worker, and where we live on the planet influence how we feel:
I even got into a bit of high octane speculation about mitochondrial sensing of subatomic particles coming into our atmosphere3 from outer space tying in to the art of astrology š

I really appreciate you saying that you started with night habits because thatās where it has been easiest for me to start too.
Iām the only one in my household who is interested in this, so I started to wear my sunglasses at night when I share space with them. Wow has that made a difference!
