I am biased toward vacationing at the ocean (maybe it’s my combined Scandinavian and Japanese heritage?), so when I think of going camping or vacationing, I think of the ocean:
eating smoked salmon backs and oyster shooters; binging on clam chowder bowls and oyster po’ boys (back when I didn’t know about seed oils 😂)
walking barefoot on the beach
watching the sun set over the Pacific
and lighting a campfire to stay warm while stargazing and sharing deep thoughts with my loved ones
Of course, these few past years I’ve been having babies back to back to back and haven’t felt inspired to actually go camp out with everyone in tow and especially not anywhere where sand is guaranteed to permeate… everything.
But I’ve been feeling the call of the waves lately and this made me think about how spending time at the beach can be such a nourishing way to reconnect with Nature, soak up circadian sunlight, and boost quantum vitality with earthing, cold water, and fresh seafood.
When was the last time you enjoyed going camping? Did you know a single weekend in natural light could be enough to reset your circadian rhythm1?

Just had a week long camping trip in the south of Germany. ☺️I have always loved sleeping outside and used to beg my parents to let me sleep out on the trampoline all summer.

That sounds amazing! It is nice on the trampoline with the open sky view, too 🌌
