There are 4 types of anemias we will be talking about in this exploration into Quantum Anemia Theories:
Nutritional anemias: iron-deficiency, b-12 deficiency, folate deficiency, etc. can cause anemias due to low intake or poor absorption
Pregnancy-related anemias: pregnancy can cause anemias due to increased demand for nutrients plus expansion of blood volume (higher plasma ratio means lower relative number of red blood cells)
Anemias related to chronic health conditions: underlying health conditions (and/or the medications used to treat chronic diseases) can contribute to or cause anemias
Rare and inherited anemias: many unique situations can cause anemia that donât fit into any of the categories above
While there are many things that can cause the various forms of anemia, the results (and the path back to normal function of the blood) remain similar: optimize all stages of the bodyâs own blood building and recycling processes!
Whatâs different from what I am putting together here and what have found everywhere else I have looked for information about anemia:
I do not believe it is impossible to have an adequate dietâthus, the idea that supplementation is a long-term necessity doesnât fit my world view. I wanted to understand how to have healthy iron and blood function without long-term supplementation.
I do not believe most people are unfixableâthus, the idea that medication is a long-term necessity doesnât fit my world view. I wanted to understand how to have healthy iron and blood function without long-term medication.
If we are going to consider supplementation or medication only a short-term basis⌠what else can be changed in order to have healthy blood without using those tools? My investigation into this question led me deep into all the stages of the blood lifecycle, surfacing questions such as:
What nutrients need to be present, and how are each of them gathered, sequestered, and prevented from becoming toxic or overabundant in the body?
Why is iron so deeply needed, yet at other times so wildly inflammatory?
How do lifestyle factors, such as light and the electromagnetic environment, impact each of the stages in the creation and recycling of blood cells and in the metabolism of ironâs nutritional cofactors?
How can individual variations in metabolism be predicted and accounted for in treatment plans?
What are the cutting edge discoveries poised to change the ways we understand all of these blood-nourishing and recycling systems to be working together and are there better ways we could be testing their functionality?
And so much more. The more I read, the more curious I become about these delicate and vital processes in the bodyâand Iâm so thrilled there are people like you in the world who are also excited to dive into these fascinating questions with me.
I decided to put âtheoriesâ in the title of this series of posts about anemia for the simple reason that this is all theoretical! No one else I know of is pioneering all of the things I am going to share as one integrated method, and my n=1 experimentation doesnât mean it will work for everyone. This is where you come in, and your qualified practitioner. I highly encourage you to share these articles, and the attached citations, with your healthcare provider and see if integrating any of the ideas into your own unique anemia treatment plan makes sense. If you end up having results worth sharing, please share with me so I can continue refining this and making it better! If you have a partner in your journeyâwhether professional or maybe a friend going through similar issuesâI highly recommend you sign up for a group subscription. You pay half price for all members of your group, so if you have only one person to add, itâs essentially two for the price of one! Hereâs where to grab the deal (this is only available for the regular tier at this time, not the Quantum tier):
If you want to be a part of this but a paid subscription would be a financial hardship, let me know what kind of sliding scale you need and/or how else you might be able to work an energetic exchange.
