This is a quick heads up that Naturally Natural🌱 is getting a new name! From here forward, this newsletter will be arriving as Brighter Days, Darker Nights.
Keep reading to find out about this change.
One year recap:
I started this newsletter to share lifestyle tips from medical research. By spending this year writing, I found a passion for the topic of circadian rhythmicity. With this fresh name, I think it will be easier for new readers to find this publication and understand what it is about.
About the name and other upcoming changes:
-Former: Naturally Natural
-New: Brighter Days, Darker Nights
In light of my focus on rhythmicity, the original name, Naturally Natural, felt too unspecific. With the new name, I want to evoke the good feeling of living in time with the natural circadian rhythms of life. I want to impress that such a life could be as joyful as tapping along to your favorite music. I want circadian awareness to feel like the hopeful new frontier of wellness that it is! Plus, by reading the new name and nothing more, you get something cool to experiment with in your own life.
The publication's description and URL will be changing to go with the new name, too. I will share more about those details as they roll out.
Plus, a new feature:
Additionally, at reader request, look forward to joining your fellow readers and me for office hours! This will be an opportunity to write in and ask questions, as well as share your own wisdom.
What will be the same going forward?
My goal remains to share interesting lifestyle tips I find in scientific research. I studied writing, biology, and psychology and graduated with a B.S. in General Science from the University of Oregon in 2017. This newsletter is my contribution to community journalism. I am happy to have you along, and appreciate you reading and supporting my work.
Although the name is changing, my coverage of scientific research will remain the same. The logo will also remain the same! The natural light of the sun, moon, and stars will always be the light pattern against which we measure all others.
I hope this makes sense and you are happy to continue reading Brighter Days, Darker Nights! Please help spread the word. The more people subscribe and support my work here, the more of my own time and energy I can put into this publication and raising awareness about this fascinating new area of health and wellness: circadian rhythmicity!
Good name change. And thank you for researching this topic. I have a couple of sleepless friends I will send this on to.
Congrats Nikko! Love it:)
