Nature’s rhythms support perinatal health
New interview on The Road to Wisdom podcast’s Quantum Nourishment series with Chloe and Keshia
I loved this chat with Chloe & Keshia on The Road to Wisdom Podcast. Their podcast is all about parenting, health, and being human. As part of their Quantum Nourishment series, we talked about how melatonin and oxytocin play crucial roles in birth and postpartum well-being. Thanks to their thoughtful questions, I was able to share a lot of practical information about significance of natural light exposure for both mothers and babies, and the potential negative effects of artificial light and non-native electromagnetic fields (nnemfs).
One of the things that matters so much to me is that families learn the importance of aligning with nature's rhythms for optimal health and well-being during the perinatal period. From the power of smart sunlight exposure and building a solar callus, including:
the benefits of photobiomodulation (PBM)
the power of morning sunlight
the role of UV light
and how most sunscreens do more harm than good…
…All the way to circadian nutrition. I was happy that in this conversation we were able to talk about the connection between folate, a vital nutrient for pregnancy, and melatonin via the circadian rhythm, and the concept of quantum hydration and its relation to mitochondria.
Chloe, Keshia and I ended this Episode 40 with a discussion of the importance of building a community and mainstreaming a lifestyle that includes elements of circadian and quantum health.
Key points from my interview on Chloe & Keshia’s Quantum Nourishment series on The Road to Wisdom Podcast:
Circadian rhythm and quantum nourishment are vital during pregnancy and motherhood
Hormones like melatonin and oxytocin significantly influence sleep, birth, and postpartum well-being
Natural light exposure is crucial for both mothers and babies, while artificial light and non-native electromagnetic fields can have adverse effects
Developing a solar callus to protect against sun damage and support healthy sun exposure for all members of the family, including children and babies, is a wise choice
