I have an idea for a circadian sisterhood circle
Summer Sister, Winter Sister, Swap!
For the past year, or maybe even more like 18 months, I’ve been hearing from women who want more community style support from me.
Not just one-to-one work, and not the cadence of classes and group chat here in the Substack, but a way to form intentional relationships with other circadian-savvy women and mothers.
A way to connect through similar stages of preparing for conception, being pregnant, planning for birth, and supporting our newborns… circadian-style.
I’ve loved this idea of a circadian sisterhood, or mother’s circle, and have played around with different ideas for how it could work; but nothing felt quite right… until last week!
It was actually hearing my research mentees present their projects at IAQB when it clicked.
It’s Summer in the Northern hemisphere now, and Winter in the Southern hemisphere.
Six months from now, it will be the opposite.
So as with the idea of sister cities, I’m thinking this: what if we have a circle intentionally comprised of women from bot…
