Four free things for you π
Time-sensitive! Act by October 14th to take advantage of these free offers before they disappear π
Back in 2014, I was just starting to figure out marriage & motherhood, while navigating college, work, and this was when I first started understanding the links between sleep, artificial light, and my health.
I had found a job at the company Zirtual as a virtual assistant, which was really amazing because at that time they were hiring less than 1% of applicants.
But, it so happened they were in a funding boom that then went bust! less than a year later π²
And so in 2015 I found myself suddenly launching my very own consulting business during the fallout from Zirtualβs literal overnight collapse.
I was lucky to land several key client contracts at that time that helped me kick off and sustain that businessβ¦ well, until I started this one you know me for here that I started in the fallout from the Covid-19 lockdown (sometimes βbadβ things can catalyze good changes, eh?).
One of those first early clients I worked with, John Danner, went on to write a book called Built for Growth: How Builder Personality Shapes Your Business, Your Team, and Your Ability to Win. While supporting the marketing launch of this book, I of course read it and took the quiz (you can take the quiz here if you like).
I learned I have what they call a βcaptainβsβ entrepreneurial style:
Pragmatic
Team-Enabling
Direct
In this system, captains are seen as team assemblers, intent on creating a company culture around values and accountability.
While I am the sole creator and consultant here at Brighter Days, Darker Nights, I always have and surround myself with key partnersβnot the least of which is you, dear reader! Thank you as always for being here and participating in the community by commenting, liking, and replying to emails. I love hearing from each of you!
Indeed, from another perspective, my whole work here is necessarily built on the research done by hundreds of other experts who all do and discover amazing things I would never have the time to work out myself.
And I truly enjoy putting together their work in fresh ways that give new context to their individual works and put them in front of eyes who might otherwise not hear about them.
Anyways, today, several of my key partners I work with more directlyβmy self-chosen teammates, if you willβhave some awesome free offers that I think you might enjoy.
Class! Over at the Quantum Biology Collective (QBC), I will be teaching a class very soon. This class isnβt actually free to the general public, but, since you are in my community, you have the opportunity to attend for free. Hereβs the secret registration link, and I hope to see you there! The topic is Speeding Up the Research to Practice Pipeline in Quantum Biology and it is going to be all about ways you (yes, you!) can help shorten the gap between research and widespread implementation (currently estimated to take nearly 2 decades!). Note: you must attend live to participate, as the replay will live inside the QBC membership which you have to be a paid member of to access.
Giveaway! This year, I have been ramping up the business coaching side of my practice here, because I have learned many in the community need that kind of supportβwhich I have to offer based on my previous decade working as a marketing consultant. To grow a quantum health practice, you do need business, marketing, and day-to-day operations support in order to actually succeed in getting this information out there! As Iβve been figuring out how to blend my two backgrounds of business and birth/biology, Iβve been leaning in to Danielle LaPorteβs mentorship, as she similarly models an excellent blend of business and life coaching! Along those lines, I am part of her launch team for her amazing yearly planners, and have a planner to give to you! The details will be shared on my IG next week, so be sure to follow if youβd like the chance to enter the giveaway for a free heart-centered 2025 planner. Hereβs the link to follow me on IG where Iβll be doing the giveaway.
Challenge! Earlier this year, one of our community members here at Brighter Days, Darker Nights, Jeff Gibson, reached out to me to introduce me to his teammate Dan White, who has been very active in championing circadian health in schools in the UK for the past few years. They are both now part of team QNTMLY, which is offering a free Circadian Rhythm Disruption (CRD) Challenge. I personally helped edit the scripts for the video learning series and can therefore attest to the very high quality of education participants are going to be getting (Iβm happy to review your materials for clarity, accuracy, citations, etc, as well, and you can book a free meet & greet any time to talk about scope and rates for this kind of service). Anyways, the CRD Challenge is completely free to join and is going to be epic! You can find all the details and register here.
Community! I am so thrilled about my Transcendent Birth class being included in the Sacred Birth Certificate Program by Maryn and Margo from Indie Birth, which is kicking off on October 15th. The investment is way low for the offer, being that this is the first time for the program, but if you are not yet sure, Indie Birth has an amazing free community and would be an excellent place to come join us in womanly conversations around birth and motherhood and see if the vibe would be a good fit for you. The social network is free to participate in, and you can join at the link here.
So, there you have it! Four free things for you from four of my amazing business partners. I hope you find something valuable. Thanks, as always, for reading and supporting my work here at Brighter Days, Darker Nights. Iβd love if you could share with a few friends who might be interested, too :)
