Easy start guide to baby’s circadian rhythm + free elimination communication class TODAY 6/23
Your invitation to learn from Andrea Olsen of GoDiaperFree and me about EC
Fourteen years ago, I was the only mama I knew doing elimination communication (EC).
I learned about EC by serendipity… the friend who had originally introduced my husband and I was coming through town and stopped by while I was at the end of the third trimester with our first child.
Our friend had just attended a rebirthing workshop, and mentioned that one of the parents in attendance had been doing elimination communication (EC).
We watched the Birth as we know it documentary (highly recommend) after dinner, and I woke up the next morning in labor.
My daughter was born into my husband’s hands that evening, and it was a natural flow that we started EC with our daughter right away.
Reactions to our decision to do EC in 2012 ranged from WTF to “this little girl is going to rule the world.”
Nowadays, I am finding that the majority of moms I chat with are either practicing some form of EC, or are at least aware of it.
I think this growing interest in going back to EC is great for babies and for culture, and have been mentioning the importance of supporting digestive development as part of circadian development for a while.
This is why I am so jazzed up about the FREE CLASS I am hosting in just a few hours where we will have none other than Andrea Olsen of GoDiaperFree with us to talk about EC and especially nighttime EC.

Below, find enjoy some of the other resources I have created that mention/support EC and may help you support baby’s elimination rhythms:
Let me know in the comments if you’d be interested in a full research post about this! There’s actually a pretty good and growing body of research on the topic. Everyone that’s in my Zotero, I already put together the Elimination Communication folder for you.

Looking forward to the class later!
