Do you have to take off your barefooting shoes to ground?
Most grounding shoes are barefooting shoes but not all barefooting shoes are grounding shoes. Here are shopping recommendations for my favorites.
Barefooting shoes vs grounding shoes
Today’s post is going to be a quick one! I just wanted to share the difference between:
barefooting shoes—designed to allow feet their full, natural movement
grounding/earthing shoes—designed to allow electrons to flow through the sole
Most grounding shoes are also barefooting shoes, but not all barefooting shoes are grounding.
During the chilly seasons, a nice pair of grounding shoes is a great complement to the quantum circadian lifestyle.
Two categories of grounding shoes:
Rubber soles with metal pins to allow electrons to flow, such as Earth Runners (https://www.earthrunners.com/products/earthing-shoe-diy-kit)
Leather soles with no plastic lining
My preference for comfort is the leather sole. If you get them, watch out because they can be slick on some surfaces, such as snow!
My favorite grounding shoes are made in Oregon!
