Nikko’s class: Light & Transcendent Birth: Inside the biochemistry of the mystical experiences of sex, childbirth, miscarriage and menstruation.

Nikko’s Sacred Birth Class Summary:

The potent experiences of birth, miscarriage and menstruation have always been times women were encouraged—or restricted(!)—from participation in the shamanic, mystical, and religious rites of a community. Why is this? In my research, I have discovered a unique thread of hormones, neurotransmitters, and interstitial activations that peak during these times that are also connected to what we see when people enter transcendent states. In this class, I explore light and the biochemistry and biophysics of trance, ecstasy, bliss, hearing voices, and even having out of body spiritual journeys in birth. You will learn how today’s world of flickering artificial light and ultra-long wavelength non-native electromagnetic emitted by technology can directly interfere with these transcendent experiences—and how to instead harness natural light during pregnancy and early labor to enter the portal of birth with full access to the hormones and neurotransmitters of transcendence. In this talk, I unveil my thesis with rich science, photography, and art to paint a vivid picture of reclaiming the pathway of life, light, and transcendence through the powerful womanly initiations of sex, birth, miscarriage and menstruation.
